As autumn draws near my mind starts flickering with thoughts and inspiration for new work. Ideas start to bubble up and swirl around; it’s quite an exciting thing. During the warm months I do not do much creating. Summer time is business time for me. I do all the necessary evils of the art world. Submitting portfolios, setting up shows, organizing and marketing are a few of the things I work on. It’s a good cycle for me, it took me some time to realize and accept this pattern. I see summer as a hibernating and healing time for my creative source. Now with the Autumn Equinox only about a week away things are starting to wake up.
